Hello! My name is Taras Lokotko, and I’m currently working as a researcher at Michigan State University. My areas of expertise are physics, mathematics, and programming. Let me briefly tell you about my background and my approach to teaching.

I was born in Ukraine, and at the age of 23, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics from Kyiv National University. I then moved to France to pursue a second Master’s degree in Nuclear and High Energy Physics. At the end of my studies in France, I was offered a PhD position at the University of Hong Kong.

My PhD research focused on the experimental nuclear physics, and I had the opportunity to take part in several experimental campaigns in Japan and China. Having an honours degree majoring in psychology and teaching psychology for more than 11 years in the classroom and almost 7 years online (and counting) - I believe in my abilities to make psychology accessible and fun and to guide your journey through psychology, psychological concepts and theorists. I have always been interested in psychology since growing up in New Zealand and culminated in me having 2 undergraduate degrees from the University of Auckland - currently ranked 65th in the world.
