Hi there! I’m a native Russian speaker with an MA in Teaching Russian Language and Literature from Taganrog State Pedagogical Institute, and I’m also certified by Moscow State University as a teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language. I was born and raised in Russia, where I taught academic Russian and worked as a proofreader for a local newspaper before moving to the USA in 2014.
Since then, I’ve been happily teaching Russian to both kids and adults — from complete beginners to advanced learners — in private schools, online platforms, and even as a volunteer teacher at my local church.
I believe learning Russian should be fun, inspiring, and full of creativity! In my lessons, I use interactive games, authentic materials, colorful visuals, and plenty of humor. I love making tricky grammar feel simple and helping each student learn in their own unique way. My goal is to make you fall in love with the Russian language and enjoy every step of the journey!
