🧳 Teaching Experience

I've spent the last 8 years teaching English, with a strong focus on working with adult professionals rather than beginners or students learning English for general purposes. Early in my teaching career, I moved to Peru to teach in person, which meant working face to face with adults who needed English for their actual jobs and daily lives, not just for a classroom exercise. That experience taught me how people really use a second language under pressure, in meetings, in interviews, and in everyday conversations where there's no time to pause and think.

Since then, I've continued working with the same type of student: people who already have a career, already know more English than they give themselves credit for, and just need the speaking piece to catch up.
