Good Afternoon
My name is George Hayk, and I have over 10 years of teaching experience in Science and Psychology in both the United Kingdom and China. I am currently working as a Science Teacher at Marlborough Science Academy in St Albans, England.
My students often describe my lessons as engaging, progressive, and enjoyable. I take pride in presenting challenging topics through creative and structured methods, breaking complex concepts into clear and manageable steps. This approach has helped students confidently understand demanding areas such as Homeostasis, Biochemistry, and Quantum Theory. My strongest area of expertise is Biopsychology, a subject I am deeply passionate about.
A key principle of my teaching is connecting theory, practical work, and experiments to real-world applications. I believe students learn most effectively when they can see the relevance of what they study beyond the classroom.
I also place strong emphasis on examination success, supporting students in mastering GCSE and A-Level exam techniques to achieve their best possible outcomes. My proven results include an 87% pass rate, 53% A and A+ grades at A-Level, and 45% of GCSE students achieving grades 7–9.
