I have a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master's in Teaching and Leadership, and a Bachelor's Degree in History education. I taught social studies for ten years to at risk students in a Chicago suburb before moving into school administration. I have worked as an administrator at one middle school and two high schools in the past twelve years. Next year I'll be working with elementary school students. I have a National Board Certification, which has helped me to really think deeply and apply principles about how students best learn.
