Having an honours degree majoring in psychology and teaching psychology for more than 11 years in the classroom and almost 7 years online (and counting) - I believe in my abilities to make psychology accessible and fun and to guide your journey through psychology, psychological concepts and theorists. I have always been interested in psychology since growing up in New Zealand and culminated in me having 2 undergraduate degrees from the University of Auckland - currently ranked 65th in the world.
I am warm, friendly, fun, positive, honest, well versed in my subject, and hope that I may assist you using a student-centered approach tailored to the needs to the student. I have a passion for psychology and love assisting in the understanding of ALL related topics: why do we behave the way we do? how do hormones control my anger? how does memory work? how do others influence my behavior? Why is attachment (secure) during the critical period so important? Whether you need a full curriculum, or you just want to cover some aspects of psychology that are problematic - I hope that I may be your guide.
We can do one-on-one or group learning - my rate stays the same regardless of student numbers - so it is cheaper if you can make a group.
