Hello! My name is Carolyn, I am a native English speaker from the UK now living and working in Hong Kong. After a career in textiles here in Asia I have decided to bring my love of English and communication skills to teaching. For many years I was the only English speaker in my Hong Kong office and was often called upon to be the English teacher for my colleagues, now I really am one!

I hold a TESOL certification from Trinity College and I have also completed continuing Professional Development courses in SEND learners and teaching Young Learners.

I'm ready to work with your family to support and develop English as needed. I am happy to develop lessons that support the curriculum your child is engaged with in school or to plan a course that fits your child's unique learning needs. If you are an adult who uses English in your daily life or work and you would like to work on a specific set of skills we can do that too. Perhaps you feel confident in your receptive skills, listening and reading but would like to improve your speaking or writing.

In our initial introductory class we can discuss your needs and explore your child's interests so that our lessons are fun, engaging and your child is motivated to learn!
